Arthur Melo has recruited a physiotherapist, a fitness coach and a nutritionist to work with him daily as he looks to impress Jürgen Klopp and forge a lengthy career at Liverpool, reported by Paul Joyce – Times

The 26-year-old midfielder who is on loan from Juventus is determined to seize an unexpected chance to shine at Anfield. The sessions are planned in conjunction with Liverpool’s medical staff, as per Paul Joyce

Last week Liverpool rejected suggestions circulating in Italy that the club were looking to send the player back to Juventus. Several reports suggest Liverpool boss Klopp now recognises Arthur’s efforts as he seeks to impress.

de Jong NEVER wanted to leave Barca

Although the player was heavily linked to a move outside Spain, in a press conference Frenkie de Jong reveals he never wanted to leave FC Barcelona.

“Links to Man United and Chelsea in the summer? I already decided in May that I wanted to stay at Barça. I never changed this decision.”

“I always wanted to stay at Barcelona this summer… and this is why I always remained calm in the summer”.

Dutch midfielder continued by saying: “The club has its ideas and I have my idea, sometimes this clashes with each other. But things went okay”.

Lewandoski highlights why he moved away from Bayern

Robert Lewandowski: “My signing for Barça gave me a boost. It boosted my self-esteem. I knew I had to be a differential player in match results and I’m not afraid of this role. I feel very proud of myself.”

The 34-year-old Polish striker continued in intentions of joining Barca by saying: “I think the road to winning the Ballon D’Or is much shorter at FC Barcelona than at Bayern Munich. That’s why they have so many winners.”

So far Lewandoski is currently the top goalscorer in UCL and LaLiga, scoring 11 goals for the Catalans in both competitions
