Nicolas Jackson scored his first hat-trick for Chelsea as the Blues cap off a wild night in a North London derby with a late 4-1 victory vs Spurs.

Nicolas Jackson to Sky Sports: “I’m very happy.

“It has been a difficult time for everybody in the team. We are coming back really slowly, and I am happy to have scored three goals.

“It’s my first hat-trick, so I’m happy to have done it with the biggest club in England and everywhere.

He added: “I need to always improve and work harder. We continue working.

Former Chelsea and Liverpool striker, Daniel Sturridge, on Sky Sports: “A lot of joy and weight off [Jackson’s] shoulders.

“A big game and nights like this, you do feel, ‘yes, keep this going next week. I want to score more goals.”
