Maguire backs Man United strikers amid goal drought.

Man United fans are demanding an improvement from their strikers and Maguire backs the striking force, believing the goals will surely come, and the drought will end.

Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Rasmus Hojlund, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho have scored only one goal in the Premier League this season—a Marcus Rashford goal in a defeat at Arsenal in early September.

It was another blank for the misfiring strikers in their game vs Luton on Saturday, until Maguire’s fellow defender Victor Lindelof scored to deliver all three points to the Red Devils.

Harry Maguire speaking to the media about the strikers’ goals drought: “I see them (the forwards) day in, day out in training and they all have the ability to score goals.

“At the moment we are not scoring enough but we aren’t keeping enough clean sheets as well, that’s how I look at it.

Maguire concluded: “Maybe a little bit of luck will turn, they’ll get the first one and the goals will follow.”
